Carrier Options

  • 70/30 Ethanol : Propylene Glycol — DIY, fast-drying, strong penetration.
  • Anageninc K&B — pre-mixed carrier; add powder → shake → done.

Skin varies. If one carrier irritates, try the other.

Target Batch • 30 ml @ 5% (≈ 50 mg/ml)

  • RU58841 powder: 1.50 g
  • Ethanol: 21 ml
  • Propylene Glycol: 9 ml

You’ll Need

Accurate 0.01 g scale • 2×50 ml beakers • glass stir rod • small funnel • 30–50 ml amber bottle (dropper or reducer).

Instructions (70/30 EtOH/PG)

  1. Measure 21 ml ethanol (beaker A) and 9 ml PG (beaker B).
  2. Tare the scale to 0 with an empty beaker; weigh 1.50 g RU58841 into it.
  3. Add ethanol to the powder; stir to dissolve.
  4. Add PG; stir until crystal clear (no particulates).
    • If hazy, add a small amount more vehicle keeping 70/30 (e.g., +0.7 ml EtOH + 0.3 ml PG), then stir again.
  5. Funnel to an amber bottle. Label:
    • RU58841 • 5% • 30 ml • ~50 mg/ml • YYYY-MM-DD

Fastest Route (Anageninc K&B)

  • Pour 30 ml K&B into a bottle.
  • Add 1.50 g RU58841.
  • Cap and shake lightly until uniform.

Storage

  • Powder: freezer (sealed, moisture-proof).
  • Mixed solution: fridge, dark (amber), minimal headspace.
  • Room temp is possible short-term but shortens shelf life.

Spacing With Other Topicals (general guidance, not advice)

Apply once daily to clean, dry scalp. Start 0.5–1.0 ml; adjust by coverage. If stacking (e.g., GHK-Cu, minoxidil), separate by 15–30 min.
